Beeswax Candles
Made Only From Natural Materials
All my candles are made in my workshop in Mevagissey, a small fishing village in Cornwall. The beeswax is sourced from our local area, and is a byproduct of the honey making process. The bees always have enough honey, and when the surplus has been removed, the beeswax would eventually biodegrade. Natural beeswax is a lovely product to make candles from, and is great for the environment.
Why use a Beeswax Candle?
Beeswax burns hotter than other waxes so no unburnt toxins are released into your home. The wax has a natural honey fragrance as it burns so there is no need to add scent which can be toxic when burnt. Beeswax candles burn with a bright flame, if made and burned correctly they do not drip wax. Because it is a hard wax beeswax does not require any supplementary or over packaging in containers thereby reducing the use of environmental resources.
